From time to time, we here at Jason’s Connection like to give our readers updates and some behind-the-scenes access to what we’re doing in order to accomplish our goal of being the help we need! Case in point: The team here recently hit the road to Chicago to take part in the StoryCorps project, as part of the Disability Visibility Project. Here we share some snapshots of our trip.

On Thursday, January 22nd, Jason Harris, founder of Jason’s Connection, was interviewed by Jason’s Connection’s new Content Director, Ericka McIntyre, at the StoryCorps studio in the Chicago Cultural Center, in the heart of downtown Chicago.

he StoryCorps staff were wonderfully helpful in facilitating Jason’s telling his story and the story of Jason’s Connection and what we do.

The interview was recorded and will be placed in the Library of Congress. A portion of the interview may even air on NPR!

Watch this space and stay tuned for a podcast of the full interview in the days to come.

This trip was a great experience for the team here, and we hope Jason’s story, and our story, will inspire our readers.
